I found these at a storage place near my home. I asked the guy in the office if I could have them and he was glad to get rid of them...I'm not quite sure they were his to give away though. ;o)
I originally used them to make a bridge for our Girl Scout troop... we put two on the ground and then one on top. I stapled cardboard on top to make it a bit sturdier for the girls to stand on.

Honestly it wasn't too difficult. I should just go take a picture of it...it would be easier than trying to explain it. What I build isn't very pretty...pure function and recycling.

well the website said they had the right to do a substitution if they didn't have it. I'm just annoyed that they didn't bother to cancel my order until after I asked for the trace after it should have been delivered.

I've had that happen before -- ordered off a website from a local florite where it clearly says something is available, then get a call later saying "we don't have any of those." I don't think florists' websites are the most up-to-date.

A timely post, Renee! I think it is interesting how the "experts" seem to know so much. I have to wonder how they come to know it. Most of them say a cat rubs on you because it is marking you with it's scent. Sorry. I think they rub on you to greet you and they are expecting a response!

I agree with your assessment of researching this stuff. I couldn't believe how much criticism there is out there about Cesar, but it's hard to know if it's warranted. There is such a thing as genuine cruelty, but on the other hand, nature isn't always what we would call kind in her lessons. Kris is learning to watch out for goat feet because he's been stepped on, ouch!

Ha! My onions take about two years as well! I don't know about the stalks or stems or leaves or whatever they are, but I did read to cut off the flowers. I've not tried powdering onion (or garlic) but I'd like too. Can't say I've had much better results with chives either.

I was hoping that if enough of us made some noise about stuff like this that perhaps the FDA would go back to doing their jobs. However, I think that like with all our government funded programs they've had their budget cut so much that bribes from other sources govern what is "healthy" for the public more than public opinion.

Yesterday I reported a company that wants to eliminate my Time Share fees...we don't have a time share and this one I KNOW is in violation of the DNC list.

Today I reported a possible scam. They claim to be with the VA to let hubby know his benefits. Only they have their facts messed up...you call the VA, not the other way around. I also reported them to the VA so they can warn folks.
