Sliding under the radar...

Am I like the very last old blogger out there? Everyone else it seems has been FORCED to switch over to the new blogger...but me. I'm just waiting until they say I've gotta switch.

Watch this post wakes them up... that would be really sad as NO ONE likes new blogger. Didn't all the blogger beta folks say that they didn't like it??? I don't understand why they would switch if the beta didn't work. Beta is where you work out the bugs.

Oh well. I'm sticking with old blogger as long as I can. neener neener neener!

I'm sure that did it!

UPDATE: This morning Blogger is wanting me to make the switch! I managed to sneak by the page though...it says I can only do this once... we'll see about that. hee hee hee

  1. I like the new Blogger OK. The formatting setup is really easy. I do hate losing all the stuff in my sidebar and having to put it all in again, and I do hate that group blogs no longer can have group owners (as far as I can tell), which means that one of my blogs belongs solely to me now since I was the one who changed it over. But since I was the one who posted to it the most, I guess that's OK.

  2. I think that my brother-in-law, who is actually a fairly recent blogger (I'm pretty sure he was one of the last people to get the BETA version) still maintains his "Beta blogger" account (try saying that 5 times fast). Mums the word...my lips are sealed...your status is safe with me!

I still have the old Blogger at my design test site. Make sure you have a copy of your template saved somewhere, Blogger may force you to switch at some point.

  5. I like the new version now. I deleted my blog while in the Beta age, but the new version and new blog are working well for me.

Sorry I've been away for so long, I had my own drama going on, but hopefully that's past. It sounds as if you could really use a girlfriend's night out. Especially with the girl scout cookie drama, cripes!
Who knew that a little box of cookies would be so much trouble?

  6. I hate hate hate the new system. Go ahead and ask me how I feel about it. I think I'll give a prize to the last blog on my roll that's still on old-blogger. I think I know of two.

  11. I'm still on the old blogger as well. I'm not much for changing until they work out the bugs (kind of my philosophy with Microsoft as well.)

I only got to do it once.

I tried different browsers, I tried logging in at weird times... but Blogger is persistant.

  13. Yea, I switched the other day. I'm a little leery of the change...given all the difficulty that I had with my old blog.

So far so good..we'll see how it goes.

  14. I actually haven't seen much of a difference since I switched. I've made template changes and gone back and edited old posts and everything.

I don't work with the system nearly as much as uisce does, though, I'm sure he's seen more than I have. For what I do with it, it's been fine.
