the Girl Scout cookies?
And how I mused at the very end of my post that after all my whining everything would probably turn out just fine...
Well guess what...
Not only did everything turn out just fine, it turned out better than fine!
Our cookie lady emailed us this week that she was expecting her order and would let us know when we could pick up the cookies we needed as soon as she got her order in. She emailed last night that we could come and get them this weekend.
I picked up the regular cookies this morning and was able to get 2 & 1/2 orders filled and then this afternoon, I was able to pick up all of the other cookies that we had ordered...and I was able to get 2 more orders filled and picked up. LOL!
I now only have 2 more orders that are not Darly's sitting at my house and I have cookies! Lots of cookies! YAY! We even started delivering them this evening. Woo Hoo!
Tonight after dinner, I'll get all the cookies that I need for our Church orders together and then we'll start delivering them tomorrow. Hopefully I can get rid of about 1/2 of these and then my family room won't look like we're moving. hee hee

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that it all worked out. We just turned in our orders and won't get our cookies for a few more weeks. This year I only took in a few orders...Maybe next year I won't be so burnt out. What kind of cookies are you selling? We have 1 new kind this year that is a cinnamon cookie that comes in 100 calorie packs.
