  1. If my FIL had presented me with this information I'd tell him, "I don't believe all that." I like to be difficult, because he's such a scientific kind of guy.

But man, that is really interesting! I guess I knew about how small we were compared to the sun and all, but those other stars... wow, who knew our own sun was just a wee bag of gasses!

    "Wow, Earth is really something"

    By the end...not so much.

  4. That is a good way to put things in perspective. Too bad there's not a teeny little dot for me, and then a BIG earth. :)

Yeah, the smoke in Vegas gets to me, too. Most of the restaurants we eat in are no smoking, and we can be outside walking or at the pool a lot. Though I get a nosebleed and 1-900 voice by the end of day 3.

The Bellagio was a dream until last year. We stayed one night, and I was SOO excited. It was horrible. The room was TEENY, there were dirty dishes left outside of our room, the staff was rude, etc. It's still a beautiful hotel, but never anyplace I'd stay again.

Ha! We play the penny slots, cuz we're goofy that way, so the slot cards would need to be used several years running for us to be comped. :) Plus, every time we get one, we get too many free drinks and leave it in the machine!

  7. Kinda cool. I own Mars, by the way. Not a lot of people know that.
