Today I came into the computer room while Darly was using it and she closed the window that she was looking at. The page seemed innocent enough, but the fact that she chose to close it bothered me. SO I snooped.
when I got on the computer I checked the history and started clicking on the links. Darly came in and asked what I was up to. I told her I was looking for the page she closed when I came in. She was shocked that I could do that! and seemed unwilling to cooperate with me by telling me what it was. So I kept digging until at last I did find it. I'm not sure why she insists on being secretive with me...so I'll just have to show her how I can find out what she's up to. We just discussed at dinner crazy folks who steal kids... Spill or I snoop!
Any closed windows at my house result in removal of computer privileges - for my kids AND hubby. If they feel they have to hide it, they ought not be doing it. ;)

ReplyDeleteI agree. It's good to have open communication about the harmful people out in internet world. Hopefully, she realizes nothing can get past her detective mother! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm super secretive with my Mom. But she's too nosy. And I'm an adult and Darly is a kid. So I guess I'm gonna stop with the comparisons there.
