we had another hail storm the other day. Luckily this one wasn't quite as bad as the first storm, I don't think that the roof is in any worse shape than it was before. LOL! However, damage to the garden continues...This bell pepper (I know it looks like an Aniheim, but it's a bell pepper!) got punched! Here's a pile of the hail after about 20 min of rain. Looks like snow, huh?here's some flatten lettuce. notice all the leaf litter on the ground. UGH! I don't think I'm allowed to have any produce this year. Hello Farmer's Market!
We had storms yesterday. I'm glad it did not damage your roof anymore. I'm sorry about your garden. I would be way bummed! AT least you can now go go the Farmer's Market.
ReplyDeleteGive my congrats to the lady for her victory.
i know it's wrong and you'll think i'm crazy, but i'd take hail over heat any day. :)
ReplyDeleteThe weather sure is crazy! I'm amazed that the hail did that to the pepper. My little pepper plant has three more on it and they are all doing fine. Seems they fill out better as they get bigger!
ReplyDeleteRemember when you posted pictures of hail and I thought it was snow? Then we had a hail storm of our own and my car got damaged. Ah, those were the good ole days.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on defeating the tree! What is the lady's next quest?
Yay for the lady beating the tree! Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteMan, that poor pepper :(
Wow! A hail storm in the middle of summer? Is that common in your area?
ReplyDeleteHEY! Where are you? I haven't heard from you all week.
