Hail damage & stuff

Here are some shots of my garden after two hail storms. There are my tomatoes. Not too bad. I'm still worried about the one there in the last pix...It still has a few leaves, but it seems to be the one that got hit the hardest.
The peppers don't seem any worse for wear, but I'm still wondering where the other pepper plant seeds I planted went! The lettuce looks great, in fact I should harvest a bit for lunch! And the spinach looks good too, but it got to hide out under my cherry tree...note all the cherries that didn't survive. I guess I shouldn't have set my heart on some cherry jelly this year. :(

I didn't take a picture of my beans...that was just too pittiful to capture. There again I'm missing plants. My carrots seem to be okay too, but they're still very tiny.

  1. It was kinda strange that just a few days after I'd commented on your hail pictures asking if it was snow that I got to see a yard covered with hail in person for the first time in my life.

PS: Give the bunnies some lettuce.
