the pink came back and the purple text that you're seeing looks kinda grey on my screen. DH asked what I wanted to do about it today. He said that the price he found for a new monitor is the same as the ones on-line. I should call my lil bro and get his. I would really love a new 'puter, but we've forked out major big bucks lately and dh needs dental work before I need the 'puter. Priorities! blech
