Guest Blogger Darly: Dad needs to take me shopping!

You're probably wondering why Mom has a guest blogger here today. Well, I've been bugging Mom for quite some time about having my own blog. She thinks that I'm still too young and that I need to learn how to spell better first. But she decided that she would let me post here today. So here it goes...

YIKES! There is only 11 days to Christmas and Dad still has not taken me to the mall to buy Mom's Christmas present and with 11 days to Christmas and all I am runing out of time!!!
P.S. comments will be shown to mom and me.

  1. I think you better start dropping bigger hints to Dad that you NEED to go shopping as soon as possible !

  3. Make sure you ask Mommy what she wants so Dad can pick up a gift for her while he's at the mall.

  4. Only 11 days left? Where did the time go? Have any ideas what to get for your Mom? I hope your Daddy takes you soon. You don't want to be caught in the last minute rush!

  5. Darly says: If my dad (who doesn't get back until very late tomorrow) doesn't take me to the Mall soon, I may have to make this gift. .. hummm... that will be very hard.

  6. I'll bet your Dad would love a hand made gift from you!
And about a blog, maybe you could have one that is password protected so that you and your mom know just who is reading it. Now, get shopping! lol
P.S. Nice to meet you (:

  8. Has you mom really been that good this year to deserve a present? I'm thinking if she hasn't, she should really buy you an extra gift instead of getting one.

In the meantime (until your Dad comes through), you can also make a gift for her. Not instead of a store-bought gift, but in addition.

    Mom's always love that stuff!

  9. Don't wait until the last minute, and be sure to buy something nice for yourself while you're out shopping. Hey, that's what my wife does! :)

  11. About that blog. If Cats can have blogs Darly, then why can't you. Tell your mom it will motivate you to spell better. After all, you wouldn't want to be shown up in spelling by a Cat, would you?

  13. Wow ... You'd better start cajoling your dad REALLY soon or it will be Christmas Eve and you'll be doing your mom's shopping at 7-Eleven! Get thee to a mall post haste! You could probably make a good present for your mom (you have thumbs, afterall) ... Mom's love presents made by their kids. I've helped my mom make bath stuff out of Epsom salt, food coloring, lavender oil from Michael's soap aisle, and a Ball canning jar to present it in ... It doesn't cost a whole lot, but you can make a ton of presents for people that way. You can also sew sachets with some fabric and some loose lavender from the health food store (where it's cheap in bulk). How does such an attractive cat know of such presents, you may ask? I'm much brighter than I look and I pay attention ... Good luck.
